We started Poositive because it's become too difficult to navigate what dog bags to buy.
Some are regular plastic bags marketed as "green" due to their recycled packaging. Others are labeled "biodegradable," not clarifying that they're just regular plastic with oxo-degradable additives that cause them to break down into microplastics over centuries. Certain brands offer "biodegradable" bags made of PE and cornstarch, where only the cornstarch part biodegrades, leaving behind plastic PE. Some use a mix of recycled and new plastic, which still traps waste for centuries.

Absolutely! Our bags are in a larger size to make sure there are no messy mistakes on your favourite walks - regardless of your best friend’s size. Our bags are 230*330mm (13″ x 9″) with a flat top without handles. We have made the bags 18 microns thick, ensuring that there is no breakage while you save the world, one bag at a time.
Our bags are made of Cornstarch+PBAT+PLA.The bags are fully home compostable and 100% degradable to make sure we are leaving no trace in landfills, apart from 💩. The PBAT and PLA used is biodegradable and compostable, meaning it can be broken down into their constituent parts by microorganisms in the environment without exposing the product to high and constant temperatures. This means you can safely dispose of the product in your home compost. Our products are certified by OK compost HOME certification from Tüv Austria, EN 13432, BPI and ASTM D6400, AS 4736, AS 5810.
